My thanks to Mr Rahman for his excellent care in removing cataracts from both eyes. He is expert in his field, explained clearly all that surgery involved, and listened to my questions and concerns. The outcome has been greatly improved vision and increased confidence for the future. I would not hesitate to recommend Mr Rahman highly to anyone needing ophthalmological care.

A very nervous patient who was put at ease with the kindness of staff at Stobhill Hospital and Mr Rahman telling me I would be fine. Mr Rahman removed a cataract and fitted two stents in my eyes. He was very good at his job and I was pleasantly surprised at how well this went and how pain free it was. I am delighted to say this was a great success and brought my eye pressure well down. If I needed this done in my other eye, I would not hesitate to ask for Mr Rahman to carry out these procedures.

Mr Rahman treated me with kindness, courtesy and respect. He explained clearly the benefits and possible risks of cataract surgery. The operations were pain free. I found it helpful that Mr Rahman spoke words of quiet reassurance at various points during the surgery. When I had a question about aftercare he was very quickly available by phone. It is clear that he has a great team of people around him and they all work very well together. It is a great joy to be able to read comfortably and to drive again.

I was referred to Dr Rahman, for cataract surgery, he discussed what would happen and reassured me. I’m the biggest coward, I put on my big girl pants and tried not to worry. Dr Rahman put me at ease, he is very reassuring and caring, just what I needed. I had no conception how I would see after surgery in both eyes. Having worn glasses since I was 7 years old, the surgery is life changing, I can see when I open my eyes in the morning. I only need a small distance prescription (personal choice) and reading glasses the joys of old age! Definitely book your appointment with Dr Rahman with not worries!

Mr Mamun Rahman was attentive at all times exhibiting an interest in me as a patient and as a person. His manner was very reassuring while indicating the potential risk factors of the procedure being considered. His initial consultation was carried out promptly and was thorough and he communicated his proposal for therapy clearly and concisely. The procedure was carried out with the minimum of delay and in a professional, expert manner with a minimum of discomfort to me. I thoroughly recommend Mr Rahman for any ophthalmology issues.
